1. Materials:
• Common materials include stainless steel (such as SUS304) and carbon steel. Stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for environments with high requirements for waterproofing and rust resistance. Carbon steel is relatively low-cost and has sufficient strength for general use.

2. Surface Treatment:
• Stainless steel generally requires no additional surface treatment and can be left in its natural color. Carbon steel may require surface treatments such as galvanizing and passivation to improve its corrosion resistance.

3. Waterproof Design:
• The core of waterproof nuts lies in their waterproof design. Typically, blind internal threads and a special head structure are used to prevent moisture from penetrating the screw and nut connection.

4. Installation Method:
• Waterproof nuts are usually installed using specialized riveting equipment. The nut standoff is riveted to the plate to form an effective internal nut, which can then be screwed into place.

5. Performance Parameters:
• Tensile Strength: Taking M3 self-riveted waterproof standoffs made of SUS304 stainless steel as an example, their tensile strength is generally no less than 520 MPa; the tensile strength of M4 standoffs is also at a similar level. The tensile strength of carbon steel standoffs varies depending on the steel grade, but generally reaches around 300-600 MPa.
