A rivet nut stud, also known as a blind rivet nut stud or threaded insert stud, is a specialized fastener integrating the functions of a rivet nut and a stud. It features a threaded cylindrical body with a flanged head at one end and a deformable tail at the other, designed for blind installation (no access to the backside of the workpiece) in thin-walled materials such as sheet metal, plastic, and aluminum alloy.
