- Applying Sealant (if necessary): For applications requiring high sealing performance, you may need to apply an appropriate amount of sealant to the threads of the nut or bolt. Sealant can further enhance waterproofing and fill minor gaps between threads. Be careful to apply evenly and avoid over- or under-applying. Follow the sealant's instructions to ensure optimal performance.

- Tightening the Nut: Align the waterproof nut with the bolt and begin tightening slowly. During tightening, ensure that the nut and bolt threads engage properly to avoid misalignment. Use appropriate tools, such as wrenches and sockets, depending on the nut's specifications. For connections requiring a specific torque value, use a torque wrench and tighten the nut to the specified torque value to ensure connection reliability and waterproofing.

- Checking the Sealing Condition: After installation, check the sealing condition of the waterproof nut. Initial checks can be performed by observing whether sealing components (such as rubber washers) are properly compressed and whether the sealant is evenly distributed. If conditions permit, a simple waterproof test can be performed, such as spraying a small amount of water on the connection part to observe whether there is any leakage. If a poor seal is found, it should be adjusted or reinstalled in time.
